RIFLE NOTE: The items described as being from a display and having one or two holes in one side of the case were part of a large collection that had been displayed by the previous owner. The cases had been drilled and the powder removed prior to attaching to a backboard. Because of the wood and paper used in the display cases, the lead bullets were showing the effects of oxidation, which would have eventually ruined the cartridges had the displays been left intact. The cartridges listed here are the ones that I did not need for my own collection. They display well, as the holes are in one side of the case only, and would be perfect for anyone planning a display of their own, or wanting to section a cartridge to show its internal construction. Since they are inert, they can be shipped anywhere in the world. Please note: only the cartridges described as being from a display are inert; all of the other cartridges are intact and original. ~~ July 2008 additions begin with item #8221 <> August 2008 additions begin with item #8276 == December 2008 additions begin with item #8380 // February 2009 additions begin with item # 8491 xx March 2009 additions begin with item #8640 ** May 2009 additions begin with item # 8675 ## June 2009 additions begin with item # 8790 Item # / Description / Headstamp / Price per Cartridge 7118 .17 Remington, copper jacket hollow point, nickel primer, headstamp R-P 17 REM $1.50 3739 .17-223 (4.32 x 45mm) new primed empty case, brass primer, headstamp R A 6 6, this cartridge was developed and used in the US Army's unsuccessful SPIW program during the early 1960s $2.00 5853 .204 Ruger, copper jacket hollow point, brass primer, headstamp WINCHESTER 204 RUGER $2.00 8220 .218 Bee, copper jacket hollow point, nickel primer, headstamp REM-UMC 218 BEE $1.50 2091 .218 Bee, copper jacket hollow point, nickel primer, headstamp SUPER-X 218 BEE $1.50 1153 .218 Bee, copper jacket hollow point, nickel primer, headstamp W-W SUPER 218 BEE $1.50 6880 .22 Hornet M65, pointed copper full metal jacket, case cannelure, nickel primer, headstamp R A 5 9, made by Remington Arms in 1959 on contract for US government, intended for use as a survival cartridge, Lot 5000 $1.00 7829 .22 Hornet, pointed copper full metal jacket, nickel primer, headstamp REM-UMC 22 HORNET $1.00 187 .22 Hornet, copper jacketed hollow point, nickel primer, headstamp REM-UMC 22 HORNET $1.00 189 .22 Hornet, copper jacketed soft point, nickel primer, headstamp REM-UMC 22 HORNET $1.00 7831 .22 Hornet, copper jacket soft point, brass primer, headstamp REM-UMC 22 HORNET $1.00 1350 .22 Hornet, copper jacketed hollow point, nickel primer, case cannelure, REM-UMC 22 HORNET $1.00 5273 .22 Hornet, pointed copper jacket soft point, nickel primer, headstamp REM-UMC HORNET, from display, two holes in one side of case $0.50 7830 .22 Hornet, copper jacket soft point, nickel primer, h/s REM-UMC HORNET $1.00 7828 .22 Hornet, copper jacket hollow point, case cannelure, nickel primer, h/s REM-UMC HORNET $1.00 5281 .22 Hornet, copper jacket hollow point, nickel primer, headstamp REM-UMC HORNET, from display, two holes in one side of case $0.50 3259 .22 Hornet, copper jacketed hollow point, nickel primer, light case cannelure, R-P 22 HORNET $1.00 7827 .22 Hornet, copper jacketed soft point, nickel primer, light case cannelure, R-P 22 HORNET $1.00 7826 .22 Hornet, copper jacketed soft point, nickel primer, R-P 22 HORNET, short dash in headstamp indicates production at Lanoke, Arkansas facilities $1.00 7824 .22 Hornet, copper jacketed soft point, brass primer, headstamp SAVAGE 22 HORNET $2.00 7834 .22 Hornet, copper jacketed soft point, case cann, nickel primer, SUPER SPEED 22 HORNET $1.00 7833 .22 Hornet, copper full metal jacket, case cann, nickel primer, SUPER SPEED 22 HORNET $1.00 == 8396 .22 Hornet, copper jacket hollow point, nickel primer, headstamp SUPER SPEED HORNET, from display with two holes in one side of case $0.50 7835 .22 Hornet, copper jacketed soft point, nickel primer, SUPER SPEED HORNET $1.00 7832 .22 Hornet, copper jacketed hollow point, case cann, nickel primer, SUPER SPEED HORNET $1.00 5279 .22 Hornet, pointed copper full metal jacket, nickel primer marked with 0, headstamp SUPER SPEED HORNET, two holes in one side of case $0.50 981 .22 Hornet, copper jacketed hollow point, case cannelure, nickel primer, SUPER-X 22 HORNET $0.75 4550 .22 Hornet, copper jacketed soft point, case cannelure, nickel primer, SUPER-X 22 HORNET $0.75 5277 .22 Hornet, pointed copper jacket soft point, nickel primer, headstamp SUPER-X 22 HORNET, from display two holes in one side of case $0.50 ## 8880 .22 Hornet, copper jacket hollow point, nickel primer, case cannelure, headstamp SUPER-X HORNET $0.75 5276 .22 Hornet, pointed copper jacket soft point, nickel primer, headstamp SUPER-X HORNET, from display, two holes in one side of case $0.50 6881 .22 Hornet M65, pointed copper full metal jacket, case cannelure, nickel primer, headstamp W C C 5 8, made by Western Cartridge Co in 1958 on contract for US government, intended for use as a survival cartridge $1.00 6882 .22 Hornet M65, pointed copper full metal jacket, case cannelure, brass primer, headstamp W C C 6 0, made by Western Cartridge Co in 1960 on contract for US government, intended for use as a survival cartridge $1.00 986 .22 Hornet, copper jacketed soft point, nickel primer, headstamp W-W SUPER 22 HORNET $1.00 192 .22 K Hornet, copper jacketed hollow point, reformed Hornet case with sharper shoulder and greater powder than standard Hornet cases, various headstamps;
