PISTOL NOTE: Some of the items below are described as being from a display and having one or two holes in one side of the case; they were part of a large collection that had been displayed by the previous owner. The cases had been drilled and the powder removed prior to attaching to a backboard. Because of the wood and paper used in the display, the lead bullets were showing the effects of oxidation, which would have eventually ruined the cartridges had the displays been left intact. The cartridges listed here are the ones that I did not need for my own collection. They display well, as the holes are in one side of the case only, and would be perfect for anyone planning a display of their own, or wanting to section a cartridge to show its internal construction. Since they are inert, they can be shipped anywhere in the world. Please note: only the cartridges described as being from a display are inert; all of the other cartridges are intact and original. ++ March 2013 additions start with item # 9782 ^^ May 2013 additions start with item # 9800 Item # / Description / Headstamp / Price per Cartridge 6561 .11 Whatzit, lead round ball, copper case, headstamp 'W', appears to be a necked rimfire cartridge but is actually someone's idea of a joke, made from a Winchester old style No. 4 shotshell primer (this makes it a centerfire!) with a number 6 shot as the bullet. At one point, it was thought that a pistol existed that fired this thing, but one has never turned up. It is rather cute; a cartridge collection could never be considered complete without one of these $1.00 8260 .221 Remington Fireball, pointed copper jacket with polymer tip, brass primer, headstamp R-P 221 REM FIREBALL $2.00 9718 .221 Remington Fireball, pointed copper jacket soft point, brass primer, h/s R-P 221 REM $1.50 9633 .25 Automatic (ACP), copper full metal jacket, brass primer, headstamp norma 25ACP $0.75 1047 .25 Automatic (ACP), copper full metal jacket, nickel primer, headstamp REM-UMC 25-6.35m/m $0.50 9710 .25 Automatic (ACP), copper full metal jacket, nickel primer, headstamp W.R.A.Co. 25 AUTO $0.75 735 .30 Luger, nickel jacket soft point, nickel primer, headstamp REM-UMC 30 LUGER $0.75 2416 .30 Luger, copper full metal jacket, nickel primer, headstamp WESTERN .30 LUGER $0.75 3237 .30 Luger, copper full metal jacket, nickel primer, headstamp WRA 30 LUGER $0.75 7650 .30 Luger, copper full metal jacket, nickel primer, headstamp W-W 30 LUGER $0.50 924 .32 Automatic (ACP), copper full metal jacket, nickel primer, headstamp PETERS .32 A.C.P. $0.50 926 .32 Automatic (ACP), copper full metal jacket, nickel primer, headstamp PETERS 32 ACP $0.50 939 .32 Automatic (ACP), copper full metal jacket, nickel primer, headstamp REM-UMC 32 AUTO $0.50 9348 .32 Automatic (ACP), nickel jacket with oxidized soft point, copper primer marked U, headstamp REM-UMC 32 AUTO $0.50 940 .32 Automatic (ACP), copper full metal jacket, nickel primer, headstamp REM-UMC 32-7.65M/M $0.50 3304 .32 Automatic (ACP), copper full metal jacket, nickel primer, headstamp R-P 32 AUTO $0.50 2314 .32 Automatic Savage Pistol (ACP), nickel full metal jacket, brass primer with super-imposed US, headstamp S.A.Co. .32 A.S P. $1.50 6963 .32 Automatic (ACP), nickel full metal jacket, case cannelure, copper primer marked U, headstamp U.M.C. .32 A.C.P. $0.50 991 .32 Automatic (ACP), nickel full metal jacket marked W, case cannelure, copper primer, headstamp W.R.A.Co. .32 A.C. $ 0.75 993 .32 Automatic (ACP), nickel full metal jacket marked W, copper primer marked W, headstamp W.R.A.Co. .32 A.C. $ 0.75 8271 .32 Colt New Police, round nose belted lead, nickel primer, headstamp AMRON 32 NP, from contract box mKD 50 CARTRIDGES BALL CALIBER .32 N.P. 98 GRAIN LEAD FOR COLT COBRA LOT T15 $3.00 3063 .32 Colt New Police, lead, case cannelure, nickel primer, headstamp REM-UMC 32 COLT NP $0.50 3428 .32 Colt New Police, flat tip lead, cannelure, brass primer with superimposed US, U.S.C.Co. 32 COLT N.P. $1.00 2358 .32 Long Colt, lead, copper primer, headstamp PETERS .32 LONG, scattered case stains $0.50 5798 .32 Long Colt, round nose lead, copper primer, headstamp PETERS 32 LONG, from display, 2 holes in one side of case, polyurethane coated $0.75 9552 .32 Merwin & Hulbert, lead with grease groove, copper primer, folded head with no headstamp, early UMC $4.00 9581 .32 Smith & Wesson shot, tan paper sabot, copper primer, no headstamp, from a box made by the American Metallic Cartridge Company of South Coventry, Connecticut, which marketed ammunition made by the Phoenix Metallic Cartridge Co. gray-blue paper wad at case mouth, taper crimp, copper primer, folded head, headstamp G.R.A.G. .38 S., from a box labeled 'KEENFIRE 38 CAL. CENTER FIRE BLANKS Manufactured by KEYSTONE CARTRIDGE COMPANY Austria', The headstamp indicates that these blanks were actually made by the Austrian ammunition maker Georg Roth. The letters G.R.A.G stand for Georg Roth A G, the stock company for G. Roth that was formed in 1908. This is a rare headstamp which may have been used only for exported ammunition; regardless, it was used for a very limited number of calibers and for only a short period of time. The box label indicates that the cartridges were made to fit all 38 caliber center fire revolvers. This is probably correct; with the base and neck measuring .378" and the rim .428", the cartridges should be a good fit for most of the .38 revolver cartridges that were in use in the early 1900s except possibly the .38 S&W and the .38 New Police, for which they would be slightly loose but still serviceable since the low pressure resulting when these blanks are fired should not cause any serious issues. $3.00 620 .38 Short Colt, 2 groove lead, nickel primer, headstamp REM-UMC 38 SHORT $0.50 1948 .38 Short Colt, 1 groove lead, copper primer, headstamp U.M.C. 38.SHORT. $0.75 3449 .38 Short Colt, 1 groove 1 knurl copper plated lead, ni primer, WESTERN 38 SHORT COLT $0.50 5131 .38 Short Colt, 1 knurl copper plated lead, ni primer, WESTERN 38 SHORT COLT, from display, hole in side of case, otherwise very good condition $0.50 625 .38 Short Colt, belted lead, nickel primer, headstamp WRA 38 S $0.50 9546 .38 Smith & Wesson, lead, copper primer, headstamp S & W 38, probably German $1.00 133 .38 Smith & Wesson, lead, copper primer, headstamp APC .38.S& W. $0.75 1546 .38 Smith & Wesson, lead, copper primer, headstamp D.C.Co. 38 S.& W. $1.50 5152 .38 Smith & Wesson, lead, copper primer, D.C.Co. 38 S.& W. , from display, 2 holes in one side of case, otherwise very good condition $1.00 4030 .38 Smith & Wesson, lead, copper primer, headstamp D.C.Co. 38 S & W.
